Our Club provides competitive and social netball opportunities for all participants who want to play, umpire or coach, and welcomes all ages and levels of experience and ability.
Our club values friendship, community spirit, teamwork and respect to all members – from our volunteers to our umpires and parents.
Our volunteers and Life Members are active and engaged members in our organisation, and we are grateful and thankful for their outstanding contributions to the development of netball with us. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!
Our Club
Our History
Our Club started in 1964 as the combined sports Regents Park Sports Club where we played netball (which at the time was known as women's basketball). The Sports Club also had teams in Physical Culture, Soccer, Rugby League and Cricket.
We used to play at Northcote Park, Greenacre and at our current home at Deverall Park, Condell Park. We previously used Rose Park Hall and Jim Ring Reserve (Birrong Park) as our training courts. In the 1970s, the flood light towers were installed at Birrong Park allowing our teams to train past 5pm in the winter months.
We have always been blessed to have a rich history of active volunteers who have given their time, energy and commitment to the Club for the benefit of sport, community and the love of netball. Many long serving volunteers have played, coached, umpired, managed teams and held executive roles in the Club. As such, these special people have been recognised for their commitment by being awarded a life membership to the Club.
