Our Club enters teams in the Bankstown City Netball Association's Winter Competition, held at Deverall Park on Saturdays from March/April to August each year.

NetSetGo - 5-10 years

NetSetGo is open to boys and girls and children of all abilities.

It is a non-competitive national netball program providing a chance for participants to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball or put on a bib. It’s a learning experience. And a lot of fun. Participants receive their very own pack which includes a netball and t-shirt.

The program is divided up into three tiers: Net, Set and Go, and where you start depends on your age and netball experience. It gives children of all abilities a positive introduction to netball and teaches them the basic skills of the sport allowing them to develop skills at a pace that’s right for their age and ability. Participants will take part in skill-based activities, minor games, and modified match play helping them to develop fundamental movement skills, as well as important social skills.

Net is for 5 to 7 year olds and teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games.

Set & Go is for 8 to 10 year olds and focuses on refining fundamental motor skills and introducing modified match play.

At Bankstown City Netball Association, 10 year olds develop netball specific skills through full game rules and match play.
